Cheap Microdrives

Does anyone have experience with Microdrives?
The prices have fallen to crazy levels. I saw a 4GB today at Circuit City for $60. Do they really fall apart, and lose images, as I've been told?

There's a mixed response. Some have no trouble at all. Others find they fail abysmally. I bought a Hyperdrive and 2x 1GB CF cards. I'm set for the next 12 months now.

Considering it's a miniature hard drive (ie moving parts), I wouldn't trust one in the daily grind. Maybe shooting around the house but IMO the fewer moving parts the better.
