Hi all !!

I've just got a powershot S2 and a Raynox 6600 wide angle lens (using the lensmate 52mm adapter). The result I got with this combination is really amazing however I could see it vignetting at the upper left corner on most picures I have taken.

Am I doing something wrong here ?

I could use a piece of software to remove the vignette but I don't want to go through this everytime I take pictures.

Even with the wide angle converter function turned on I got this little dark corner at the upleft...Can you see it ? It's pretty tiny however I don't like it.:o

Can't see a lot of detail from your picture (since it's kind of small), but I'm hoping that's not a batch of "hot pixels" or dead pixels. Without any of the converter lenses do you still have it present in your pictures? If so I would definitely think a bad area of pixels and might consider sending it back if still under warrantee.

Depending on the light intensity you can see this tiny vignetting when Raynox is attached, however Raynox claims it should not happen with the combination of this .66x wide lens and the powershot S2.....it seems I'm not the first customer to notice that.

I fix it just by zooming in a little bit. The lens will not capture the widest angle (.66) however it still works fine !! ;)
