Help please? olympus c-8080 and fz20

Hi there

Have been doing allot of research and
narrowed my chooses down too 2 digital camera's
Olympus c-8080 and panasonic fz20.

Just looking for a camera with good all round performants
and a good picture quality .
Wont really be shooting any action shots.
mostly still life and the occasional walking photo's.
dslr wont be a option ( too exspensive with lenses and all)
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jack,

A good advise I got from Mark Goldstein of PhotographyBLOG is to determine the print size you are most likely to make, not just the to get the biggest MP camera out there.

Also bear in mind that the bigger the MP count, the bigger the memory card capacity you'll need (bigger file sizes). This will increase the overall cost for your purchase as well (not a major problem if you can afford it).

Both have different zoom range and you should determine what you'll require in terms of wide angle and telephoto as well.

By the way, I own a Oly C-770UZ (only 4MP, 10X zoom with no IS) which I find is enough for my needs and at the same time compact enough for travel.
