Hi,
I am wondering whether I need MC or ND filter for my FZ7 or not. I like to have something to protect len, but panasonic manual says that the filter has to be attched to the hood and it also says that it is recommended to remove hood when using flash or in other shoot mode.
If I really like to have MC or ND filter, where is the place (website?) that I can purchase them(I am not interested in panasonic brand since they are expensive, how are about generic ones?), and I am looking at some website, some came up with 55mm, other came up with 52mm, which one fits FZ7?
Thx

You do not want a ND filter for protection , as they block light a MC or UV filter will be fine.....You do not need one but as you said it may be a good Idea for protection...I believe but am not possitive that the FZ7 ships with a 52mm adapter and a 55mm adapter is available...

This filter and store would be fine
