Hi, All
Where can I find info about which 1 GB SD card is compatible with my new Panasonic DMC-FZ7S digital camera? I am looking for a high speed SD card at least 1GB in size and the speed is at least 80x or above(I prefer 133x). The only one manufacture seems to have compatibility info is Kingston, but it is too expensive. Thx

I own 7 or 8 different cards and have yet to see one thats not compatable.
Transcend 150X
PQI 40X and 80X
Simpletech 60X
Ridata 150X
Panasonic 2mb/s --- 60X and 133X
Lexar 32X
Dane electric ?
and have used
Kodak
Sandisk
AData
get no larger than 2gb and you will be fine... and I would not recommend the Dane Electric ...its slow even though it rated at 60X
New egg is a good place for cards I just ordered another 2 gb Ridata from them this AM.

Thx, and I was looking at newegg.com, but saw a bunch of people complain about compatibilty issue(even device dependent) and there is no easy way to find out which SD card is really compatible with FZ7. At the sametime, I am not sure whether different models (panasonic) may have different compatibilty issue.

I have 2 corsair(133x) that i used in fz5 and fz30 with no problems. I filled both in test mode to make sure that everything was ok before taking pics. After some unfortunate experiences with other cards, I always format in camera after uploading to computer. I had problems with card reader but not with cameras.

You can get a bad card that does not mean its a compatibility problem....and My guess is the problem most of the time is, user error and not a card problem......over the years for every person that says a card did not work in their camera there are several more that say they work fine.....just pick one and get it......I'll bet it works and newegg will replace it if it does not.
Get a card reader and format the card in the camera and your worries are over.
