Batteries for the SB600/800

What is the best option for batteries for these flashes? I currently am using a Sunpak 383 until I get one of the speedlights. I am sick of blowing money on batteries that wear out fast. Would rechargables be better? Is there a special battery pack available? I am open to any suggestions! Thank you.

With my SB800 I use Energizer rechargeable NiMH 2200mAh batteries with a quick charger. I get close to two hundred flashes on a charge although the recycle time slows down after 150 flashes. With a quick charger they charge in less than 15 minutes. I have two sets of batteries I rotate. The manual that comes with the speed light from Nikon covers how different type batteries perform and how many flashes per each type battery.
