This was taken early this morning from my back porch. Four phots were stitched together. I used Fz20 in sceney mode but didn't really capture the scene very well. There was no pp done to the photos other than stitching. Any comments on how to improve the shot would be appreciated
thanks

Awesome view! Wish I had a back door like that.
Like you, I have problems stitching together panoramas with differently exposed shots. Is there someway to keep the exposures consistent as you take the various shots (assuming the ambient light remains constant)? The problem for me, as it probably is here, is where the sun happens to be.
I'd rather not have to spend hours on PS Elements trying to match the light on the various shots.

Well ..I wish that was my view from the porch.
You really need to lock the exposure somehow ...maybe by shooting in manual.
I am surprised the software did not attempt to correct the exposure.....perhaps you need to set a preference somewhere to tell it to fix the exposure....or you could try dodging the darker side of the seams.

Thanks for the replies
I noticed that each photo has a slight different apture and shutter speed even tho it was in Scene mode all within about 20 seconds. I will try it later in all manual and overlap the photos a little more than I can trim away any obvious exposure differences. These mountains are the East side of the Olympic Range in Washington State. Photos were taken at about 3X power and only captured 1/2 of the view.

aside from exposure lock, for composition, you may want to shoot upright, ie, in portrait format.
just to share, here are some of my panos.... http://photobucket.com/albums/y281/meillana/Panoramas/
