Jeff - you've got some very nice work there. My favorites are your landscapes, especially "Plage océane". It's a very simple image in elements, but powerful in composition & exposure. You have a great eye, attention to detail, and your use of lines are top-notch. There are some very nice reflection shots as well. Thanks for sharing your gallery and it has been added to my bookmarks.

Hannah if you looked closer on his gallery under each picture there is the exif data. He is using the Canon 350XT with the Tamrom 28-75 f/2.8 for his landscapes, and seemingly his Tamron 90 f/2.8 macro lens for all his other shots posted on his website.

Jeff if i might make a suggestion. I know Jalbum photo generator is a cool program, but with pictures a good as yours, I would be hesitant to allow people to copy them to their computer. All they have to do is right click on any picture they like and its theirs for the liking. If you are ok with that...cool. If not, you might want to try porta here is the link

also download the simple viewer as it really make your website cleaner and gives more eye candy. Also, people cannot copy your nice photos as it is all rendered in a flash application. Unless there is a way around it that I am not aware of. You have very nice pictures and a good eye for composition. Better safe than sorry. Last thing you want is to see a picture you took in some travel brochure for France without your consent!

My galleries below are examples of porta software. Wish my pictures were as good though lol

Hope you'll appreciate it.

As always such a pleasure to look at the remarkable and beautiful shots that you kindly share with us. Some of them I recognise from this site and almost greet them as old friends - such is their impact. Thanks again for sharing your view of the world.

regards

Any digital file that is public can be stolen, there is always a way, in this case a simple screen shot and then a little cropping.
Nice picture by the way ;)

A photographers best way to protect his work is still through the negatives, so never share your RAW file with anyone.
A big fat visible watermark right across the picture will of course deter some, but even they can be removed with a little care and the same goes for watermarks "hidden" in the data of a picture. That being said the best watermarking technology I have come across is from Digimarc. Check it out at: http://www.digimarc.com/mypicturemarc/

I totally agree with you Coltess. All my pics are posted with a low resolution and a high compression level. This format is not acceptable to be published in any book or brochure.
