Just bought a wide angle lens for my W1 off ebay for £40 (picture).

No matter what settings I try I get blurring round the edges (example).

The link ring is for a Nikon 885, but slots in fine, and doesn't seem excessively long (the lens pretty much fills it when extended).
Do you have any suggestions? Is the official Sony wide angle lens free of these problems?
