I was informed that the use of a spotting scope, acting as a telephoto lens, was possible - any comments. I am thinking of purchasing the Panasonic DCM Z20. I hear it's a very good "zoom" camera. I'm not sure what scope to buy though? I was thinking a Celestron 20-60 80mm ED, low dispersion, scope b/c of it's relative affordablility - If I go with these two options I will have to get a machinist to adapt the celestron to the Z20.

Comments?

Thanks.

John...are you into digiscoping and have you used any FZ cameras
I am talking to this company about getting started, but any other help is appreciated.

They seem to have a good selection of scopes, adapters and wide eyepieces,
But I am still a little lost as I do not know anyone doing this.
