Charging D50 battery

Simple question... do I have to/should I wait for the battery on my D50 to wind down to nothing before I charge it, or can I charge it at any time?

Simple question... do I have to/should I wait for the battery on my D50 to wind down to nothing before I charge it, or can I charge it at any time?

I believe the Owners Manual explains that you can recharge your battery anytime you wish as it does not keep a memory like batteries of old once did... It's always good to have an extra battery ready to go in your kit, there may be a time when you need your camera right away and the light on the charger is still blinking, :(
