I am looking at purchasing the DMC-FZ20. I have been persuaded by the great reviews I have read on numerous websites by people who have used it.

I am posting in hopes of hearing reviews from people who have owned one for a while and if they still like it, and the positives/negatives of the camera.

Is there any camera that really compares well to the FZ20? I mean the price and features seem extremely worth the price!

Thanks in advance! :)

I'm also in the market for a camera. I looked at the FZ20, but decided it was too noisy. I'm probably going to settle on the FZ15, which lacks sound and the hotshoe, but is a little smoother in image quality from what I've seen. Good luck!

fz10 shooting manual is good..

as for noise yeh u get some but theres easy ways round it.. (noiseninja) for the money / features you wont do better.. look in the pana forum here see the new users remarks.. the worlds your oyster, with lots of cheap addon lens (see my posts) if you want those.. ya on track jus follow the yellow brick road haha
and jeffs review here.. no doubt u seen it.. for comparisons !
yes.. the 4mp is jus a tad sharper than the 5mp.. shame but true..

with FZ15 you can use a addon slave flash..

Well I am going with the DMC-FZ20, I went to the Ritz by me and thankfully they had the FZ15 and FZ20, the Ritz guy did sayd the FZ15 is a little sharper, but hey, I have photoshop, and to sharp of photos isnt always good.

I like the extra room for cropping also since I take a lot of outdoor photos.

Both are quick and I like that they are not that small, it feels like a REAL camera, not some toy.
