I've seen a few threads on this subject, but I still can't find the answer to my question. As far as the infinite burst shooting mode goes (for FZ30), what is the minimum speed of memory I need to take advantage of this? Would 11mb/sec write rate be sufficient (for shooting in fine mode)?

I've also seen the SanDisk Ultra II with write rate of 9mb/sec. I was hesitant on buying it originally because I wasn't sure if 9mb/sec would be enough to shoot in infinite. I want to be able to capture cars in motion. What do y'all think?

Either will be fine especially if they are at least 512mb in size.... Some cards do not do as well as they should....if you can shoot a burst and it clears and you are ready to shoot again in about 2 seconds that card is good enough.

Or if it writes a raw in 3 seconds or less, your good.

I have 32X cards (4mb/s) that are as fast as 150X (20mb/s) cards in the camera......if a card seems to be slowing down, format it in the camera.
