I enjoy those panning shots. Post your panning shots of cars, trucks, motorcycles, animals, people and whatever you can capture moving. This is one of my first attempts.

not bad at all! :) I am very novice at panning shots. Could somone please explain the technique to producing great panning shots? I am already thinking about how to do this with my kids in action!
Thanks!

Esoterra,
Thanks and look forward to seeing your shots. I have just started trying this type of shot so maybe someone has some great tips and photos. Here is what I did, shutter priority appx 1/40 or 1/50, focus on the area you want and follow the motion while keeping the exact same point in the focus area the whole time, press shutter release while still moving. I want to try burst mode to see if while I am already moving that will help. As for kids, here is my Meggy, I was too close when she went by on her scooter. My tip would be move with the subject before, while shooting and after the shot, smoothly.
