Nice layout, and interesting pictures. I'm not sure that most people have this vision of Sicily. Nice to see the more colorful landscape side. Thanks.

Amazing pictures, Gorlan. I have been trying to convince my family that we should go on holiday to Sicily this summer. I have never seen that part of Italy, and I would really like to see it. These beautiful pictures might do some of the convincing for me. I see that most pictures have not been taken in the summer, I suppose the landscape is not as nice in that period because of drought?

I liked them very much bright & lively. Sicily looks to be a very beautiful place especially the lake areas. I'd be very pleased if my holiday shots came out as good. Nice presentation as well although they were a bit slow to load on my old pc.

I am from Sicily! Currently live in Florida, but this summer I am going to go visit my family - can't wait to take my new FZ30 with me!

Anyway, great photos...Even though photos can't do certain landscapes justice, These photos really do make me feel like I'm there again.

Heres one I took at Agrigento two years ago with a little Sony DSC-P52 Point and Shoot:

In the background you'll see one of the many greek temples. Really a spectacular place.
