Smart Media Cards Non Existent?

I have a Toshiba PDR-M81 digital. It came with 8 MB smart media card. I have been told my camera is ancient and I am unable to find larger smart media cards. Is this true?

Here are a couple of cards at B & H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=search&Q=&b=0&a=158_1132&a=0&mnp=0.0&mxp=0.0&shs=&ci=1097&ac=&Submit.x=17&Submit.y=7&Submit=Go). They're much more expensive than SD or CF since no one makes cameras for that media anymore. Try eBay for cheaper options.

I can't confirm your camera being ancient :D But there are still smart media cards being sold. You'll have to look harder if you're using the 5V kind though, the one without the notch. I have a toshiba PDR 71 that still works great. My brother in law & niece have the same camera & have found some of the smart media cards on ebay.
