View Full Version : Is this Canon SD450 brand new, from Amazon.com?

I am about ready to buy the SD450, I'll us wait for my paycheck coming up next week.

Amazon is selling the SD450 for 280 dollars. Amazon is selling it, not the other stores or sellers that sell through amazon.com.

My question is, I can't find any information on the page whether or not this SD450 Canon powershot is brand new? I want a brand new camera, but I dont see it on that page and I don't know.

I'm buying from amazon because they have outstanding customer service and the price is very competitive and affordable compared to other stores. I remember once I emailed them and said how come the item i ordered keeps getting pushed back. and they replied, we are sorry, we will ship it right away, using 2 day delivery shipping. I was like, woah, th anks a bunch.

I would suggest possibly ordering it from Crutchfield.com. It's $20.00 more (299.99) BUT their return policy is a 30 day no questions asked guarantee and they will pay for the return shipping.

I'm not sure what Amazon's policy is -- but for an extra $20.00 it's worth it in my opinion.

It's brand new :) Crutchfield is definitely a good company, but so is Amazon. I'd recommend both any time.

I've only ever had grief from Amazon each of the 3 times I tried them.

Alright, cool, thanks a bunch for the responses. I'll try crutchfield and check it out. The amazon deal seems like a good price becuase it comes with a 256 mb SD viking memory card for free. the viking sd memory card aint nothing too fancy, but hey it's free, lol.

I've had nothing but success with Amazon, and their shipping for me has been lightning quick. Usually 2-3 days even with their free shipping option.
