Primary features I'm looking for:
- 5+ Megapixels
- Optical viewfinder
- Fast shutter speed
- Compact/ultra-compact
- Quality point & shoot images
- $400 or less (semi-flexible here if I really like the camera)

I've been looking closely at the following but am having a hard time deciding:
- Canon SD500 & SD550
- Casio Exilim EX-Z750
- Kodak Easy Share V550

It also looks like Canon and Casio are coming out with some new models that might be of interest.

I will primarily be taking general tourist and family photos both indoors and out.

Any suggestions, Pros/Cons of the cameras I've listed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The Canon SD550 would be a very nice choice - it is proven technology, the included software is top notch and it has great imaging ability.

If you are thinking of taking many "low light" indoor photos - you may want to look into the Fuji line of digicams. Fuji is the undisputed "low-light" leader in P&S technology.
