Which memory for Z740

I want to buy an SD memory card for my z740, but I'm unsure what to buy. I'm looking at Sandisk regular 512 mb vs their Ultra II 512 mb module. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this. I don't want to buy the faster memory if my camera can't benefit from it.

i used PNY's 1 gig and the SD card broke or fried. Now i have a kodak 512. Its fast and its amazing. Nothing has gone wrong. The higher the speed the better. The kodak 512 just the right speed for my z740.

Thought im going to get an S2.

I think that given the price difference between the regular Sandisk and the Ultra II it's worth the extra couple of dollars for the faster card. (Newegg sells the Ultra for $4 more that the standard card) Will you notice the difference?? It depends on how you shoot (do you use the burst mode) and what setting do you use for your pictures..more megapixels = bigger files and longer write time between shots. Given the price difference, you can't go wrong getting the faster card.:)

I'm using a 512Mb Kingston SD card from my old Ixus 40 in my Z740 and it seems to work pretty well pictures and video.

does anybody know if sandisk 2 gb sd is compatible with it or not
