Hey, wondering if anyone can help me with this. I am currently looking to buy a camera now, and recently, i have also purchased a 2GB SD memory card. I am interested in getting a camera that uses SD memory. I am leaning towards getting the Kodak V570, but don't know if it supports the 2GB SD card. Does anyone know if that camera can support it? Thanks.

It will use the SD card. The camera does not get "stellar" reviews, however. Unless you are dead set on that particular camera - there are better ways to spend your money.

Thanks TampaJim for your advise. Now I don't know if it's true, but I have heard that 2GB SD cards might not be compatible with some cameras. I currently have an HP photosmart digital camera (one which I can't wait to replace - use it for work only when I have to go on site and don't mind having my camera getting dirtied or beaten up..), but yeah, that camera can't run the memory card properly. It can't format the card, and have trouble reading the card soemtimes too. Do you or anyone else know anything about 2GB SD memory card issues?

There are many cameras that cannot low level format cards greater than 2GB - this is due to a FAT16 limitation. If you have particular concerns other than that, please check the compatibility of each camera you are interested in. Also, you might find useful the "memory selector" on the Sandisk site - simply pick your make and model of camera and see the results.
Hope this helps!
