I dont know if this is the right topic, but I really need some help and was hoping someone could help me.

I'll explain the whole thing to make sure i'm giving enough information. (The important stuff is in the last two paragraphs).

I recently bought a new smartmedia card and it worked fine. My old card sometimes took a little while to save images, so I thought I should buy a new one incase. I was also planning to go on holiday, and thought I might need more images. So, I went on holiday and started taking photos with my old card. We were on a bus tour and I thought I should maybe change to the new card so the photos could get saved faster. I put in the new card and filled it with photos, then I returned to the old card and filled that.

When I returned home, I wanted the photos to be in the right order so I put the old card in and all the photos were there. I got the first 17 that I had taken and moved them to my PC. I then safely removed the card and put in the new one, and moved all the images onto my PC, I then safely removed that card and put my old one in again to get the rest of the photos, When I tried to open the drive it said "This card is not formatted, do you wish to format it now?". I clicked "No" and removed it, I tried it on my camera and I got the blue formatting screen asking if I wanted to format it. I clicked "No".
I have tried a few times and everytime it says the card is not formatted, and it is as I was looking at the photos and took some from it. The stuff is definately there.

If anyone knows how I could maybe get these photos from the card, please help me as there are about 130 photos on there and i'd really not like to loose them. I know there are programs that recover deleted photos from smartmedia cards but I'm unsure as to whether this will work, as they weren't deleted.
