Ok I have been researching digital cameras for a while and have found a couple that interest me. I'm young and want a camera that's pretty compact, something I can carry around with me when I go out with my friends. But also something that will give me good quality pictures when I go on vacation to places with great sights so I can make prints to put in a frame on my wall.
I am interested in the Nikon S4 because of the 10x zoom and I like the swivel body but have seen mixed reviews. The Casio Z750 also was interesting and I liked the overall feel of it when I was looking at it at Circuit City however I heard there was some problem with "lens errors" and that it has a poor flash. I also looked at Canons 400 and 500 series which looked pretty good.
I want an interesting camera, the cannon 400 and 450 were kinda plain for me. So what would you think? I am open to other suggestions, my price range is basically anything under $400.
Also I took a photography class so manual features would be nice but they are not my top priority because most of the time I will be taking pictures of my friends and random occurrences. Especially since I have been using a disposable cameras lately, but it's time for something new.
