lines in photos?

I recently dropped my C-765. It still functions properly, the lens extends normally, nothing is cracked, etc. The LCD screen shows everything normal, BUT, for some reason, when the image is captured there are horizonal lines all through it (think TV scan lines).

Any ideas how to fix this? The camera is out of warranty.

And you may be out of luck. The fall may have misaligned the CCD causing the problems you are seeing. There may be no easy fix.
