Hello, nice to meet you all! This is my first post here...
Few days ago I became a proud owner of the kodak v550. Yesterday, after me and my girlfriend finished playing with it, when we turned off the camera and as the lens retracting, we noticed two clicking noises. These two clicking noises only occur occasionally, sometimes there is no noise as the lens retract. In addition, if the lens is faced upwards as it retract, no clicking noise was detected. There is no problem with the retracting motion of the lens. The motion is very smooth and the lens never get stuck. Personally I think the clicking is normal, but my girlfriend is freaked out, thinking that the camera may be broken.
Anyone experiences similar problem? Are these clicking noises normal? What causes these clicking noises?
