I have the same error code on my DX4530. I have had this camera a little more than a year also. I had it repaired under waranty by Kodak the first time. Now I have the same error code again and waranty time has elapsed. If you find a solution, please let me know!

I will Ron, hope you will do the same.
Do you have any ideal how much it would have cost if it hadn`t been under warrenty? Where did you send it?
Thanks for your response

I don't have a clue as to how much it would have cost to have the camera repaired. I dont remember the name of the company that supplied the waranty work for Kodak off the top of my head. But I will go back and pull the paperwork and let you know. I got the address by calling the 1-800 number that Kodak supplied in my book that came with the camera. I can get that for you also if you don't have it. I will keep you posted if I find any answers. Good luck!

Hi Sharon,
here is the information as promised. You will need to call Kodak to find out the nearest place to where you live to send your camera to. Mine went to Bensenville, IL.The Kodak number is 1-800-235-6325. Keep me posted as to how things go for you.
lots of luck!

I have a Kodak CX7430 with an error code B03.
I tried contacting Kodak and asked them what does it mean? They said it was propriatary. Send it in for repair. Yeah right.
I totally disassembled the camera and boards figuring that maybe something is "locked up" in memory. I even shorted out the little battery that holds the memory settings. Nothing helped. I still had the error.
I have a working camera and I swapped boards until I isolated the problem board.
Well I narrowed it down to the larger PC board that is attached to the CCD assy and that holds the SD mem card.
So for what it is worth.

Thanks Len for the info. When they fixed my camera under waranty when it went out the first time, My paperwork that they mailed back with the camera as to what the problem was simply stated that they cleaned the camera and "reset" it. I tend to think this means it was "rebooted" or something similar. This leads me to believe that the problem should be a simple fix. And with so many cameras that have had this problem, there should be a recall to fix it. Unless of course, this is a calculated problem by Kodak.

How do you fix it.....................? Have the camera repaired by someone that has the abillty to repair it? Maybe return it to KODAK?

Wow...............this was taken out of the SLR area and put where it belongs. Good job. I like to see a website that stays on top of things. Seems odd all of these people joined this site one right after another just to post on this subject. After doing a web search I didn't find this brought up any place other then here. Only here, on the entire INTERNET this is the only place this information is brought to light, does that seem calculated?

I was looking for help on my kodak camera and found people posting the same problem and one person noted that if you turn the camera (set to Auto), then remove the battery which will turn off the camera. Then set the power switch to off. Then place batteries back in and turn on the camera. Not sure if this will help I have not experienced this problem - I have a different one. :(
