Most of you may already know this and if so I apologize. I had a DPS-9000 (http://www.ritzcamera.com/product/814080255.htm) power pack left over from my FZ20 and I decided to try it out on the 5D. It's works great. It actually fits better than it did on the FZ probably because the 5D is bigger. It's not something I'll carry every day but it can be a life saver on the road since it even has a 12 volt charger included. Well maybe not a life saver but a shot of a lifetime saver :D
