You can find a review at dpreview. It is too noisy again for your goal, you really should check out the S9000 in person.

15x optical sounds great. Unfortunately, you will need to carry a tripod to utilise all tele ability to the max. There is no IS or anti-blur whatsoever on 815; I believe.
