Hello HKRautter,

I never tried this new Minolta Dimage X50 but I have been an happy owner and a fan of the older Minolta Dimage X (2 megapixels).
I used that X for two years and it never disappointed me .. only lacks as Dimage family the macro mode now I need .. so I bought a Canon A95 just to take better macro pics .. but I didn't sell the tiny Minolta , so good so tiny!
Probably the new X50 is much better .. so if you don't need to take super macro pics .. buy it and enjoy!
