Although the cameras and lenses stole the show, Canon introduced two new printers that some of you may be interested in. The PIXMA Pro9000 and PIXMA Pro9500. Both are wide format printers.
The former uses the ChromoLife 100 system with 8 inks. The latter uses a 10 ink system (pigment based) which is the same as the 8 ink system except that it introduces 2 additional black inks. The chassis of the 9500 is also more durable and professionally done.
I don't have exact pricing (because it was given in euros + VAT), but the 9000 will retail around $600 while the 9500 will go for around $800. I may totally off though (as in too high).
