Hello,

I'm going to dive this summer (btween nice coral etc) and ofcourse i want my camera with me then :D .

I got a sony W5 with already a wide-angle lens and a polarizing-filter. But now i want to buy an underwatercase too for the diving...

My question is now: is it very usefull to buy an Filter Kit for underwater with it?? In the description it says '(enhances colour contrast in underwater photography)', but is this really worth 80 euro??
Do u think maybe a polarizing filter can job the do as well??

Thank u very much in advance,
Laurens

Don't bother with any filters underwater. They will only rob your camera of much needed light. If you are going more than 10-20 feet down, and it isn't very clear water, you will probably wish for a more powerful set of strobes. But those will cost more than the camera.

strobes will be crucial to getting non blurry photos even with an f/2.8 aperture.
As already stated, dont bother with filters, it's probably best to shoot and adjust later.
