optimus 5.0 wont turn on at all

I bought this at radio shack in November. Haven't had any trouble with it up until last week. I went to turn it on and it was dead.. I tried to charge the battery and it wouldnt even charge. The camera got really warm, but still dead. Can the battery be dead already?? Or do I need to return it to the store?:confused: Thanks

My camera did the exact same thing...I got mine for christmas and last week I tried to turn it on and it will not. I charged mine and everything. Did you find anything out about why it was doing it, or has yours started working yet??? My sons birthday is coming up and I want to use it. :mad:

It happened to me also. I took off the battery and reinstall it, it turned on!

Well I did the exact same thing with taking my battery out like 500 times and it never worked...so I took my camera back to radio shack and he gave me a brand new camera at no charge AND I didn't have my receipt since it was a gift. He just took my memory card out and put it in the new camera.
