DT lenses seems to be cheaper and has better specs(since it has ASP, AD, CIR, whatever those means). so, is the quality of the photos good(as compared with the normal non-DT and non-G lenses?
i have particular intrest in the 18-200mm DT lens. anyone used it b4? btw, lets assume that i am not going to buy full frame cameras in my life. thanks!

DT lenses are digital only lenses, and as such can be manufactured in a smaller size and weight than conventional lenses. They're also arguably better suited for digital with better coatings to reduce flare and such. Digital only lenses are a very good option if you never plan to go with a full frame sensor camera, I just picked up a KM 18-70mm DT lens and hope to get some to shoot with it this weekend.
