They are following through with the 645D and another high end compact DSLR(D200 class?)
Maybe after Pentax has some high end, professional gear out there, people will stop viewing Pentax as a third rate brand.

Thanks for sharing that Astro. Pentax has always been and remains a strong contender. To dismiss them as a 3rd rate brand would be sheer ignorance.

I also see that they are getting into Anti Shake, which some may sneer about. My own belief is that as long as the technology exists and can be turned off and on, AS opens avenues of creative possibilities that didn't exist before.

I often wonder what the detractors of Anti Shake think about other silly gimmicks like Auto Focus and Auto Exposure settings?

I am actually very happy with my ist D and more interested in upcoming lenses like the 60-250 constant 4, than I am with a new camera...

But its good to see, it looks good in a marketing sense ;-) and next year when the price has dropped a bit I will most likely buy one :cool:
