Scandisk memory stick pro duo problem!!

I got a 512mb scandisk memory stick pro duo with my camera mobile but about a month ago, while viewing some pictures on my computer using a usb cable my computer froze. And since then it seems that memory stick has been corrupted, i can't view pictures on it from my mobile (i can't even start the mobile with it in) and i can't open it on my computer because when i try to my computer freezes, i'v tried reformating it on my mobile and computer but it either doesn't detect the memory stick or freezes. Anyone got any ideas? i'm not worried about saving any information on it i just want it working again!

Hi, I also have a memory stick pro duo 512mb card, the same happened to me after using it in another device it all of a sudden became corrupt and froze and now it will nolonger work in any device , i contacted sony as this was the company that supplied the card with my device i am still waiting for a reply and will let you know the result, as it might be as simple as taking it to be re-formatted at a specialist shop. I will soon know

I also had the exact pc freeze up while trying to view and save pictures from my SanDisc 8mb memery card. I was at a loss as to what was going on. When I put the caed back into my camera, the card was wiped clean! Not any of my 100 pictures were there. Then when I tried to take a picture I couldn't. I take a picture, then try to view it and get the msg, "Incompatible image". What has happened???? What if anything can be done to retrieve the pictures or save the card??? David
