A610 video question

Hi everybody
I have a 610 for two weeks and I'm realy satisfied but there is something I want to know.
Is there a possibility to put a video file from the disk to the SD card so it can be viewed on the camera lcd? I've tried with the usb connection but it can't be done.Then I picked a small clip and saved it with mjpeg compression but the camera could not open it.
Has somebody tried to open a noncamera avi with the camera lcd?

not possible.

reasoning:

when your camera records the video, it creates another file which is an index informational file regarding the video the camera captured. it is why your camera can read and process the video it recorded. but if you transfer a vid clip from computer or any other source outside of the camera, that secondary file is not present. the only way to recreate that file is if you're some sort of software programming genius that can recreate the code for your own video clip.
