P850 Video Quality

I am considering buying a P850. One thing I am interested in is what people think of the video quality compared to a digital camcorder. I know it will not replace my camcorder, but would like to be able to use have video that is close to that same qualtiy.

Any advice? Has anyone compared the video to video shotwith a digital camcorder?

I am also considering the Canon S2 and the Dimange Z5.

Hi,

i am happy with the movie mode of the P850. the only thing i don't like is zooming during video. you can hear the noise from the lens in the video. i have no clue though how the S2 IS and the Dimage Z5 perform in this area. check some of the reviews of this cameras, there are also movie samples provided so you can compare. hope this helps.
