cameratroubles

Please suggest me if this is a good lens for my S2 IS:
http://www.opteka.com/productdetail.asp?productid=4246
It has front threads too. But my camera is silver and the lens is black. Are all lenses like this? or are they any in silver too? I know there is a reason that it reduces reflection, but just wanted to know.
IF anybody has purchased it before, can you please put some images as to how it looks on the camera?
Many thanks,
newuser

newuserI will guarantee you that a 3x (especially a 3X no name) conversion lens will produce HORRIBLE results regardless of who makes it or what camera that you use it on. And, why would you even want to consider buying something that has no reviews whatsoever? Stick to what you know has at least a chance of producing something resembling quality results and you can change your name from "cameratroubles" to "cameraknowledgeable". Most people bring "troubles" on themselves...as I think that you were about to do...and don't go over 1.7x if you want decent looking shots...
Do yourself a huge favor and stick to the Canon converters or ones that have been thoroughly reviewed or that you can see image samples from (Raynox, Tiffen and TCON are three alternative brands that are good...but not all of their converters are suitable for the S2). Check out quality alternatives to the Canon converters over at Lemsmate: http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/S2tele.html (http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/S2tele.html)
