Is DCResource associated with questionmarket.com? I was browsing today and had a questionmarket.com popup. Whatever and wherever that's come from, it's now made it into my list of blocked sites on my svchostsfile.

We sure aren't. Do you remember where you saw that ad? Was there a questionmarket banner elsewhere on the page?

Anyone else?

I can't recall which forum it was in but I went in and suddenly a questionmarket.com form came floating across the page. Big green thing. I*'d only just started the computer so it's unlikely to be a hangover from a previous site. This computer is spy and virus ware free.

This computer is spy and virus ware free.Or so you think.

BTW, most anti-spyware programs can not detect the stealth version of Vundo...

Well Rhys you're not alone. I just had the same one float across. I was in the Photo Gallery forum Sunsets thread when it happened.

Pop the entry into your SVC hosts file (on XP) and it should stop these things from happening...

Start-Run

Then type "notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

This is what my SVC Hosts file looks like (blocks a load of nasties).
