Does this thing auto-rotate?

Not quite sure what you mean. If you want to rotate a pic youmust be viewing it. Hit menu and scroll untill you come to the rotate option. As far as I know you must rotate each pic. I always rotate them after downloading to the computer. Then I can select all that need rotating and do them at one time. Hope this helps.

Yeah. Just wondering if it did it in camera; answer is a 'no', I guess :(

My Canon used to do that. It's easier to rotate groups in iPhoto, than in camera for me.
