Hi everyone,

are there any compact digtal cameras that have manual focus? if the sd550 had that, i would be in heaven.

does the Casio Exilim EXZ750 have manual focus? reviews say this camera is just pack full of features, some say it can hang with SLR's considering its palm-sized. however, it seems that the casio is famous for its lens-error and other quality issues. can anyone else verify?

Budget: <$500
Size: small as possible, palm / pocket sized
Features: good video, very fast,
Megapixels: >7 (would like to print decent sized posters)
zoom: can be stardard, 3-4x optical
image quality: extremely important 9-10/10
Manual controls: Yes, ideally manual focus

please let me know,

thanks!

No idea about Casio and problems, but do not expect too much from manual focus. Only very sometimes it is handy (it is not very easy to judge focus on an LCD in my experience). Manual focus is available on it.
Another compact to look at with manual controls is the Sony P150/200. Read the review of the P150 to get an idea about the P200 (updated version with bigger LCD).
