Are there such things? Preferably in the Toronto, Ontario - CANADA area? There seems to be trade shows for pretty much everything, but have never heard of ones for photographers...

PMA is pretty much the big show for photography. February 26 - March 1, 2006 in Orlando Florida.

There's apparently a "camera trade show" on Sunday, Jan.22 at the Thornhill Community Center (Bayview & John) from 10-3.

I'm just getting into the hobby and was thinking of dropping in...crossing my fingers for some good deals on DSLRs.

One of these years...Yeah...I'm so bummed...I won't be able to go to PMA this year! Unfortunately, I'll be in India that week, touring Rajasthan on the Palace on Wheels and going to a tiger reserve and taking pictures of the Taj Mahal and other dumb things like that...when I could be hanging out with camera geeks and playing with new toys!

The sick thing is I'm only half kidding! :D

There will always be another PMA. I have missed the CES two years in a row (after 9 in a row), and I'm going through withdrawal. Next year for sure... PMA too. ;)
