I have a box of old camera stuff...AE1 body, 3 lenses along with filters and stuff. Is it worth holding on to? I went digital this Christmas and don't know if the 35mm stuff is obsolete.

It is terribly obsolete - please let me know how much shipping will be to send it all to me for "disposal". I will be willing to "get rid of it" for you.

Ciao!

I think Tampa is teasing you a bit there. You can check on eBay; in my experience AE-1 equivalents sell between $75-$125 for the body and 50mm lens. However - the lens can go for a lot if they are the manufacturer's first line (that is, Canon's first line, not the 3rd party brands) and if they are unusual. There are some Minolta lens I watch for that typically sell at $200-$300.

YMMV

Thank you sPh, I figured out the innuendo....I don't know exactly what I have so I'll post a follow-up with the details. Hopefully you can tell me if its' worth keeping...If they are great lenses then I'd love to know.

Looks like I've also got a Canon FD 50mm 1:1.8 and a Vivitar 28MM 1:2 Wide Angle. I also have and old Vivitar 2600 external Auto Flash. There is a Tokina 28-200 but the the glass is scratched (any way to get that fixed???). Other items include a stepping ring, a Soligor "T2" Mount for Canon, Aetna Rokunar Coated Fliter and Oemgao Film Developing reel and tank.

Please send me an idea of what you want for your items.

THank you, JohnT
