XP does not detect DSC H1

My computer does not detect my camera. Do any of you have ideas? Thanks for any help.

Mine works every time with XP. Just make sure your USB port is working, and you have the camera turned on and in Playback mode. You shouldn't need to do anything else.

Thanks Jason, mine works on my laptop but not on my desktop. I've tried all the suggestions from MSFT and Sony. It is baffling. I may install a MSFT Service Pack to see if that works. I think others (Sony and other brands) have this problem with XP and end up with a card reader.
