I can't give you a top 5. Only what I've used and like. I've used both the Epson R800 (was stolen) and now the Epson R1800. The R800 was superb. I've had some driver problems with the R1800, but the latest driver from Epson seems to have solved those issues. The print quality, especially on glossy paper, is excellent. I still need to work on matte paper print quality, but I'm going to wait for my Optix Monitor Calibration tool to arrive before I pursue that issue. I ordered the Pro version because I could get it for the same amount as the non-pro from Chromix Color Gear. That sale was through Dec 31, and I don't know if they have exteded it (www.chromix.com).

Cheers,
Eric
