hello everyone, i have been lurking around for a while now as i have wanted to purchase a new camera, very confusing process to say the least....

i was using an olympus 730-UZ which was driving me nuts as i have the worst patience in the league.....:D , been wanting a DSLR for 2yrs, finally said screw it

i went with the D70s and grabbed the sigma 18-125 so i could have a bit more reach with the lens over the 70mm

i was going to save some money and go for the D50, but i wanted the lit up display screen and i like the number 7 over 5....lucky 7.......lol

i will admit i know pretty much nothing, but look foreward to learning the new camera, i do enjoy taking pictures

i'd like to thank whomever gave me the idea of cameracanada.com, 'cause that just save me a couple hundred bones at henrys up here in canada

will be posting some pics in the cat thread from the 'oly 730uz

Congrats with the new dSLR. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I have the C-755 and while it takes great photos, it's a world away from the quality and flexibility you'll find with an SLR.
