Hey everyone, I get into Paris New Years day and would like to rent a lense for my Rebel XT. I want just a good, wide use L lense and will probably be taking lots of landscape shots... architecture, etc. I'm envisioning something along a 70-200mm. I am definatly open to suggestions.

But, my main problem is finding a good rental place. I know they have to be there... any ideas?

If you really want to get some good architechture shots, you might want to consider a tilt and shift lens. These lenses are designed for architecture shooting so the buildings look more natural. You don't get the distortions you get with normal lenses. Of course, I presume you do have to spend a little time learning to use them, and I suspect a tripod is a necessary part of the kit.

Yeah, I have a tripod. Tilt and shift huh? Sounds interesting - I'll look into them. Anyone have a rental location though?
