I have recently purchased a FZ5. I had formerly been using a Canon EOS Rebel S. I also have an older 3MP Kodak. I took a bunch of pictures over X-mas to get used to the Panasonic. I mostly tried the Simple mode. I noticed if there was even a little movement of the subject, all or a portion of the image was blurred. Is it a matter of getting used to the camera? My wife already hates the camera, every picture she took was blurred.

Is there any suggestions for just normal everyday pictures indoor of the kids?

Thank You

The FZ cameras need light .. or use the flash.
Indoors is not the stongpoint of the FZ series....to try and help
I like to use program mode so I can set the type of focus and metering I want
which is 1 area fast focus and center meter.
I also can not use Continuous autofocus or the red eye thing.
And I raise the ISO indoors
But I think you will find an external flash will help ...and use no or very little zoom until you get familiar with the camera.
You need to pay attention to the sutterspeed you can not get pictures of kids playing at 1/30 sec.
Those are just my suggestions
