Now I have already got a webcam; a very cheap $40.00 job from eBay. I have recently purchased a Olympus SP-500UZ and was wondering if anyone would know if it can be used as a webcam - if it does not have a direct PC-Cam function (like the FujiS5500) would I be able to get a live video feed though the A/V output into a capture card.
Any suggestions or advice would be much appriciated.
thanks

Check out cam2com, never used but it may do what you need.

Unfortunately it seems, after contacting the software author that this application will not do as I require...thanks anyway.
What I am after is something that will allow me to use my Olympus as a live video source for use in such programs as Skype. I am beta testing a new super video-phone wigiwigi (http://www.wigiwigi.com) and would love to see the quality of picture that my new camera gives me.
