Does anyone know how to date and time stamp pictures so they appear on the picture when you download to a hard drive?
Thanks

Thanks for the info however I have read page 86 and it only works with DPOP and I assume only using Windows XP according to the instructions. I use Win 2000. What I am looking for is a way to show the date and time on the actual photo when I download to my hard drive for storage or eventual printing. I have an inexpensive Kodak digital and even it has this feature, I would expect a camera of the quality of the Lumix to have the same.
Any thought?

Thank You, yes I do know this info is encrypted on each picture and I have software that will give me access to this info. I just want the date and time to appear on the actual photo so at a glance I know when it was taken. I send copies to family member of the kids growing up and the date provides them with a referrence point.

You can not do that with the FZ cameras that I am aware of. and I had a Kodak that did that and was never so glad when I figured how to turn that off.
If you want something similar there is some software than can name a photo by date and time as you download them, and I do not doubt there are some that can copy on the photo.

KJM58,
While I have to admit that I'm with Gene on this topic, I can understand that others may want this ability.
The camera, itself, cannot perform this function but a quick Google search of "add date to photo" comes up with many software possibilities -- at least one free, others for minimal cost -- where you can date-stamp the photos once they have been transferred to disk from the camera.
Here are a few:
PhotoUtil (http://www.codeproject.com/cs/media/PhotoUtil.asp)
Image Transformer 1.2 (http://www.topshareware.com/Image-Transformer-download-13023.htm)
SignRobot 1.1 (http://www.topshareware.com/SignRobot-download-3820.htm)
Batch Photo 1.0 (http://www.batchphoto.com/index.html)
