new camera owner and have no experience. please respond to these questions. have seen many nice pictures postedin the forums, some say post processed, what doesthis mean? how do you do it and does it take photo software,ie abobe photoshop? if not, what? would like to be able to fix redeye if needed, enhance, and crop and resize. also the uv filter question again. on another forum someone suggested the quantarary 72mm filter for the z20. could someone help with this subject? i will most likely not be using another lense. thanks in advance for any suggestions.

HI :)
post processed means removing that red eye or noise = grain on pics taken at high ISO.. use ISO 80 or 100 to prevent this..

try FREE HELICON noise filter here... and other posted free sharpener etc..

but dont get too caught up in altering your photos.. jus injoy taking them for now delete the bad ones, and take 3 pics instead of 1 of a subject untill you get good with the camera.. hey its great lens..go have fun..

ADOBE is expensive.. so
FREE IRFANVIEW will crop images...get the plugin file too..

or
try the Gimp its FREE.. see the screen shots.. impressive eh !

and
that quantarary 72mm filter will do just fine unless its expensive, your local shop may have a cheaper deal.. but protect that lens asap...

look at the shooting manual here it may help you more

have fun.. :)
